It has come to my attention that I have not been as productive as I ought to have been. Partly, I blame the glut of wonderful reality TV shows that the various powers that be delight into beaming in our very living rooms. So, if I have been remiss, then please blame the producers of such gems as
Paris Hilton's My New BFF,
America's Next Top Model and the extraordinary
The Biggest Loser. I am only human.
However, I am now back on track. First big news is that
Words of Wisdom is now finished, and available for pre-order from Amazon (available Jan 2011 - go
Here). For those who don't know, it is a collection and explanation of 360 of philosophy's most famous quotations. It was fun and fascinating to write, and I hope you enjoy it. Find out more about it
Here.
Other projects are progressing or in the pipeline. I am now three quarters through the guide to theory of knowledge for Blackwell, and you should see this sometime in 2011. There also are a few other projects which I may soon be able to announce, so keep checking back.
For everyone who has sent me books for review, thank you for your patience. I will get through them, I promise - it's just taking some time...
Promised updates are also still afoot. Some individuals have been kind enough to point out that certain sections need updating, so I aim to do that when I can.
Finally, just a reminder that there is a teachers' section to the forum, where educators of all sizes can talk shop. You will need to be given access, so contact me if you would like to be let in. It's quite quiet at the moment, but I am hoping it will get going soon.
